Head of National Press Club of Mongolia
Mrs. Bayarsaikhan Baljinnyam is a head of National Press Club of Mongolia and CEO of Amin Media Group. She is one of the best experienced media personnel with more than 18 years' successful reporting, managing, public/media relation and project management experience combined with degrees in communication, law and leadership fields. She has established outstanding media relationships around the globe with journalists, editors, producers and executives.
She holds BA in Law from National University of Mongolia in 1998 and BA in Journalism from Press Institute of Mongolia in 1999. She obtained her Masters degree in Social Science from Academy of Management in 2004.
Mrs. Bayarsaikhan started her career as an anchor and editor of Morning Show at Mongolian National Broadcasting channel from 1996 to 1998. Upon completion her MA in Law degree, she worked at the Supreme Court as a spokesperson from 1998 to 2000. She joined Eagle Broadcasting Company in 2004 as a head of marketing department and promoted to the Executive director post in 2007. Then Eagle TV was a joint corporation between Mongolia and US and she was the first Mongolian manager of the station. Moreover, she has become the nation's first ever female director of TV station. She successfully managed her station during the post-election bloody riot of 2008 and Eagle TV was the only station that broadcasted the entire violent demonstration that shook the entire nation. She was selected as a Media Personnel of the Year in 2008 and also won prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year in Good Governance” award of Mongolian Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Bayarsaikhan is the founder of National Giving Day movement and member of Confederation of Mongolian Journalists and International Association of Press Clubs.
